Betfred teamed up with darts legend Cliff Lazarenko to raise £780 for a Durham youngster who lost both his legs after contracting meningitis.
Lazarenko, a semi-finalist in the Betfred.com League of Legends this year, performed two exhibitions in the Durham area to help two-year-old Robbie Jones.
The exhibitions were organised by Lee Henderson, tournament director of the League of Legends, and Betfred contributed items of memorabilia which were auctioned to raise money to help buy Robbie a set of artificial legs.
Robbie became ill in July and doctors had to amputate his right leg above the knee and his left below the knee.
Fred Done, founder and chairman of Betfred, said: "When I was told about Robbie's plight I was only too happy to help. It's a terrible thing for such a young person to have to go through and he has been very brave.
"Cliff is a great guy and his popularity was evident during the League of Legends. That meant he was the ideal player to do the fund-raising exhibitions and they were two great nights enjoyed by everyone."
Lazarenko said: "I love to help charities and this is one that really struck a chord with me. I'm asked to do a great deal of charity work and unfortunately I don't have the time to grant every single request, but the Robbie Jones fund was one I was delighted to help."
